This is an iconic hotel located in the heart of Downtown La Jolla. The Bride & Groom often frequent this hotel for the live music in the bar on Friday nights, or to enjoy their famous Burger in the bar. You are walking distance from the children’s beach, home to hundreds of seals. Plus, this hotel is just down the hill from the the wedding ceremony location, and about 10 minutes from the Hyatt where the Bride & Groom will be staying.

There are plenty of home for rent all over La Jolla. As long as the home you rent is in the La Jolla area, you will be close to all of the festivities.

SPARKCYCLE:
The Bride loves SPARKCYCLE! She rides here at least 4-5 times per week and has tons of friends at the studio! So make sure to say hi & tell the front desk or instructors you’re in town for the wedding. The studio is located right in the heart of downtown La Jolla.
The Lot:
Go see a movie, have a drink, or get dinner at The Lot in La Jolla. This movie theater is equipped with comfortable lounge seats, plus has full service for food and drinks in each theater. The bar is pretty fun as well!
UTC Mall:
Newly remodeled, this mall has some of the best shopping in San Diego, plus some of the most popular new restaurants. Bride and Groom favorites are Larson’s Steakhouse, Great Maple, Raised by Wolves, & True Food.
Hit The Beach:
The Groom grew up surfing at Windansea beach in La Jolla. Plus, the Becerra Family is there almost every weekend all Summer long! La Jolla Shores is also a great beach with a ton of space and restaurants close by. The Bride & Groom plan to enjoy a beach day on Sunday afternoon after the wedding for anyone that wants to join them.

An amazing view of Torrey Pines State beaches plus you can watch the hang gliders, or try it yourself!

Great Maple:
Most famous for their maple bacon donuts during brunch, but this restaurant is great for any time of the day. Try their caramel pork ribs, you won’t regret it!
Flemmings:
Located directly across from the Hyatt Regency.
True Food Kitchen:
Healthy food that doesn’t taste TOO healthy. The menu is based loosely around the anti inflammatory diet. The Groom loves their Moroccan chicken, Bride loves the grilled chicken salad.
Mandarin House:
Iconic Chinese food restaurant in La Jolla. Bride & Groom favorites: Salt & pepper chicken, sesame chicken, shrimp lo mien, Mongolian beef, & pork wontons.
Parakeet Cafe:
The Bride’s favorite breakfast spot! Everything is great here but the avocado toast, salmon toast, and mushroom toast steal the show. They also have tons of gluten free & vegan options. Plus tons of gluten free and vegan sweets!
Cheese Shoppe:
An iconic spot in La Jolla Shores for sandwiches.
